What do you do when it rains? This questions excites me more than I would like to admit. I really want to know what your answer is, but I'm more excited to try and share what is mine. Rain can be so much, and rain has been so many things to me. Rain with light trying to shine through and warm you from every icy drop. So fun to squint and run through. To loook up at the clouds and sky, seeing all the rain fall around you. Rain with friends and puddles. So much fun to splash and tease, and ride bikes, and make waves. Puddles so big you almost lose your bike once you get up. Rain with such a smell! Every living thing slightly hunched, but looking up as the drops land and soak in, and run down. Then bringing up on the still air sounds to match all the wonderful fresh scents, of Earth, and life, and excitement. Rain and sometimes ice, and sometimes hail. Sometimes hail so big it felt like my brother might have sent that one my way. But he didn't. And it makes it so funny to both run away from and under the nearest cover with squeals of glee and pain and memories like no others. Rain and sweet, sweet, wet kisses. Rain and whatever comes next. Every time it rains it brings something new. I love it every time. Sometimes it's not easy to find, but I end up feeling it every time. I'm so glad I have experienced and loved rain in so many ways. I can't wait for more. Will you join me? What do you do when it rains? Yeah, that's interesting, but I'm more excited to find out what WE do when it rains........

Since the lock on my door broke, I get more visitors. I'm usually the one who opens the door or leaves it shut. Usually people knock first. Sometimes now I leave it open just to see what happens. Lately, I have multiple people inside all at once. Some come and go now too. Sometimes I am not even aware. I will stop and check from time to time, to see who is there. Sometimes I'm surprised who's still there. Sometimes I'm surprised who is gone, and I didn't even notice them leave. I try to be careful with everyone I let in. Sometimes I forget about or neglect all except one. I'm still figuring things out, but ever since the lock on my door broke, I get more visitors.....
