Currently, life seems unreal
As I unreel my grief to a tree
An actor in a play, written millennia ago
I heed the clouds and expand into the sky
As I collect blessings from those that own nothing
I find
That ownership is a curse
And nothing is a blessing
Words swirl around me
Sounding truths I have been taught
From dusty books
and dusty men
Fear falls flat as I find that
Those books and men
Never Gave Blessings
Never Heeded Clouds
They took and stole and expanded into power
For a time I did too
I felt expansion was
to toil and take
to steal and strip
Now, as I heed the clouds
I find expansion in my mind
Gathering everyone’s grief
That they have unreeled to a tree
Tasting their tears, their fears, the crash of the years
They taste me
As we share we find
We all have nothing
But the blessings we give
As we hold
As we caress
As we cry
As we scream
As we sing
We own none of this

As we expand into each other
We expand into the sky

Another life
